A winning design for a competition to create the poster & identity for Denmark's annual Book Fair in November 2014.

Bogforum is a book fair that is held every year in November in Copenhagen, Denmark. The three-day event held at Bella Center attracts over 25,000 visitors who come to purchase books by major Danish and International publishers and attend events like hearing interviews and meeting authors.
For my design, I was inspired by the experience of reading a book - how a reader might fold the corner of a page to mark where they left off or "dog-ear" a page of personal significance. The type for the letters of Bogforum is hand made to create texture and a three-dimensional quality. The overall simple aesthetic is influenced by Danish minimalism.

This project was created in the Graphic Design Foundations course at Danish Institute of Study Abroad. I worked with DIS Faculty Jeanette Hendellowitz and graphic designer Helle Vibeke Jensen to complete the final design.
